Panda Urbanization

Project i did in AP art. suppose to be about an issue we care about. i care about pandas. trying to be meaningful in my art but i cant even explain it....

What's it mean to you?

i guess when i was trying to find material for the colloge, there were just so many articles about pandas not breeding well in captivity. and it made me sad. And pandas are now so urban.... i cant explain it.

i usually got, "the robot panda is sooo cool", but people missed what i wanted to say.... i wanted it to show pandas in zoos and how they are part of society now, and maybe it shouldnt be that way. maybe im just rambling.

im proud of this. the city scene is pen and ink. the pandas standing on it too. the rest is clippings, crayons, chalk, paint. the paint is all the red, the yellow and orange around the red is chalk. all the black on the pandas is crayon. you cant tell but all the textures are really cool. and to think i hated this while i was making it...
